Children participate in activities that encourage self-esteem, taking responsibility, confidence and learning opportunities. O.C.O.S.C. continually assess and observe the children that attend and operate within the Early Years Development Framework. This is also measured by their performance at school, levels of anti-social behaviour in the local area, and attendance numbers.
The aim of our after school club is to provide the children that attend with a wide variety of creative play opportunities that enable the children to develop self-esteem, build confidence and also reduce the likelihood of the children becoming involved in anti-social behaviour if they are left unsupervised after school. OCOSC also aim to support learning through working with the local schools and other agencies in the local community and work closely with B.A.N.D. to support parents.
